What is Peckham Rise 2022?↓
An opportunity to base your business in a professional shared workspace for free, for a year, alongside a programme of training and support designed to enable start-ups across the Creative and Tech Industries (at different stages) to gain new business skills and acumen, and become a confident entrepreneurs with the ability to start, incorporate, manage, and scale up their business, as well as run it efficiently.
You will also be part of a 20 person cohort of entrepreneurs, with the chance to build professional and personal relationships which long outlast the scheme itself.
Taken together, this is a huge opportunity to increase your chance of creating a sustainable independent enterprise.
This programme aims to primarily support talented, local entrepreneurs who face barriers to opportunities due to ethnic origin, socio-economic and/or gender backgrounds.
I am just starting my business; can I still enter?↓
You can! However, we are looking for committed entrepreneurs with developed ideas, and a key criteria we consider is whether your idea is sufficiently developed to allow you to make use of most of the training and mentoring being offered.

Founder profile and personal narrative: the aim of this competition is to support a diverse portfolio of local entrepreneurs who face barriers to opportunities due to ethnic origin, socio-economic and/or gender backgrounds.
Demonstrated potential to become purpose-driven leaders, with clear vision for their business.
Clarity on how this programme can help the business journey.

You will be based at Market – 133a Rye Lane, Peckham, London SE15 4BQ, opposite Peckham Rye Station and next to Khan’s Bargain, with some elements of the training held online.

How does the selection process work? ↓
Follow the links to our APPLICATION FORM. This is an online form, which should take about 30-45 minutes to complete.
We will also have a Q&A session on the programme which is free to attend on 23 September at 12pm.
We will be collecting and reviewing all entries against a pre-agreed set of criteria set out by MARKET and I LIKE NETWORKING CIC in line with the goals of the STRIDE FUND
How much does it cost to enter? ↓
Nothing – it's totally free to enter. If you're selected, we only ask for a £15 deposit before starting, because this helps us to know you are committed to the programme. Provided you attend most of the sessions the deposit will be returned to you at the end.
We are a team of more than 1 person, can we still apply?
The support is designed for individuals, but we will consider applications for more than 1 person, subject to availability and our general judging criteria.
What happens if I am selected?
If you are selected, your free 12 month membership at Market will begin in October 2022, when the first group of sessions will also take place. The training scheme will run until March 2023, and workspace membership will run until September 2023. Selected applicants will also join an ongoing online community group to connect with their cohort, and will also be paired with a carefully selected mentor.
What do I get if I win?
The winners will gain entry to a scheme of group training, mentoring and 1-on-1 sessions, as well as 12 months of free, full time membership to Market Peckham’s professional coworking space on Rye Lane.
The training is designed by I LIKE NETWORKING CIC, which will engage a range of experts across different topics to offer sessions on marketing, business planning, networking, pitching sessions and more, as well as manage the mentoring scheme.
The workspace is a high quality, independently owned and professional working environment, allowing you to present your business in the best possible way to clients (and yourself!). You will have access to free weekly events from social, to wellbeing and fitness, plus use of extensive facilities like meeting rooms and printing, and exposure to a large and friendly community of fellow entrepreneurs and businesses. All close to your home, in central Peckham.
